For Dribbble

An animated logo shot for Dribbble

Dribbble lets you upload an animated GIF as a shot — and it plays right in the feed. Post a looping dot-matrix mark and your work moves while everyone else's sits still, so your shot stops the scroll on the profile grid and the popular page alike.

How it works

  1. 01

    Upload your logo

Drop in a PNG or SVG. LogoAnimator samples it into a dot-matrix model right in the browser — no account needed to preview.

  2. 02

    Pick a motion

A shot autoplays on mute in a busy grid, so a smooth continuous loop reads best — a wave shimmer or gentle pulse holds attention without the jump-cut a hard-cut clip gives on repeat.

  3. 03

    Post the shot

Export a looping GIF, then in Dribbble upload a new shot and drop the file in — it plays automatically in the feed, on your profile, and in the shot's own page.

Where an animated shot shows up on Dribbble

A Dribbble shot is the core unit of the platform — it appears on the popular and following feeds, on your profile grid, and on its own shot page. Dribbble accepts an uploaded animated GIF and autoplays it in all of those places, so an exported looping mark keeps moving as people scroll past — the single best way to make a logo shot stand out in a wall of static thumbnails.

What format should I upload?

Dribbble animates GIFs for shots, so export the looping GIF — it plays with no extra step. Keep it inside Dribbble’s shot size limits and it stays crisp in the feed. The SVG export is better kept for a website header or a README, where an inline animated vector belongs; for a Dribbble shot, the GIF is the one that moves.

Make it read at thumbnail size

The feed shows shots small before anyone opens them, so pick a moderate dot density and a calm loop — fine detail muddies at thumbnail scale and fast motion turns to noise next to neighbouring shots. The live preview above renders at grid scale, so what you tune is what the feed shows.

Free vs Pro

The looping GIF shot is a Pro export — watermark-free, with a commercial-use license. The SVG-based presets stay free with a small watermark, though Dribbble only autoplays the GIF, so Pro is the one that moves in the feed.
